About
MIRVEXO QUELDARA LLC is a furniture workshop at 3203 Penhurst Dr in Louisville, Kentucky. Two makers, one bench each, since 2016.
It started with a sofa that would not fit
The first commission was for a shotgun house in Germantown with a 29-inch stair turn. Nothing in any showroom would go up it, so we built the sofa in the front room.
That is still the work. Louisville has a lot of old houses — narrow stairs, odd alcoves, radiators in the middle of a wall — and the furniture that fits them does not exist in a catalogue. We measure the room, draw the piece to those numbers, and build it here. Everything is cut, joined, upholstered and finished in the same 4,000 sq ft shop, and the person who draws your piece is the person who builds it.
We keep the business small on purpose. Two makers mean no production line and no minimum order, but it also means a sofa takes six to eight weeks rather than six days. We would rather tell you that up front than rush a frame that has to hold a family for twenty years.
Materials
Hardwood, not chipboard
Solid white oak, walnut and ash from Kentucky and Indiana mills, kiln-dried and milled here. Joints are mortise-and-tenon or doweled and glued — not staples and corner blocks. Upholstery is full-grain leather, performance weave or wool over eight-way hand-tied springs and high-resilience foam.
Sizing
Your measurements, exactly
You get a drawing with real dimensions before we cut anything: overall width, seat height, arm height, depth, and the clearance you need for the doorway. If a drawing will not work in the room, we redraw it — that is cheaper than rebuilding a sofa.
Aftercare
We come back
Ten-year structural warranty on frames, free adjustments in the first year, and re-covering or refinishing at cost for as long as we are in business. Furniture should be repairable, and yours will be.

Wood, leather and fabric behave differently in daylight than they do on a screen. Bring your measurements and a photo of the room, and we will lay everything out on the bench for you.
